In the year 2011, a year after the Chinese Year of the Tiger, Italy celebrated 100 years of Captain Salgari. As of then, the copyright hold on all of Captain Salgari's works have expired worldwide . His works are available (mainly in Italian) on different sites, such as WikiSource  (29.01.2026), liberliber.it (whom also posts other works whose copyright has expired (29.01.2026)),  salgari.org  (29.01.2026), and  emiliosalgari.it  (29.01.2026). To this list, I want to add this  page (29.01.2026), which showcases the artists whom have drawn for Captain Salgari's works and for which of his writings. Though Captain Salgari's works are available online in their original language, to my knowledge, this blog is the only  place that has begun to have English translations available, with the exception of a few, officially-translated-in-English works (most of them still being more readily available in Spanish).
